Hotel Vittorio

Amazing!! The view from the hotel room is so picturesque and relaxing. We had a good size terrace to enjoy our gin and people watching. The staff are very friendly and kind. The hotel is central to everything and next to the ferry port. One important note, the terrace is under shade after noon, so enjoy the view. ;) Highly recommended.

It was kinda dirty in the room. The floor wasn't mopped or vacuumed... It also smelled really bad. I think the bed was the reason for the smell. In the night it was really loud because of the wooden shutters that were banging against the wall at the slightest sign of wind. I had to look how to turn on the TV because it was plugged off from the antenna connection. There are no parking spaces for the hotel. You either had to walk (something in between 5 to 10mins) to get to a garage where you pay as a hotel guest 11€ per day or search for something on your own. I am never coming in again and it was a really horrific experience... Besides that the breakfast was really good and the location of the hotel was nice as well. The view from the hotel was like a picture and the sunsets were so nice to watch. An answer to the owners respond: Thank you for the informantion then I got it wrong with the key and didn't understand it right. But I don't quite unterstand the thing with the fee of a cancelation? I was there a few weeks ago and everything about the payment went good and I dont had any trouble at all.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last 9 years. It has a superb location overlooking Lake Garda. Mostly rooms have a balcony and some have a terrace area too. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Right in the heart t of the centre with a great choice of restaurants and bars nearby. The boat departure point is also close by for spectacular trips along the lake. The staff are pleasant but for me the friendliest and most helpful one is Aurora on the reception desk. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she is always smiling. She is a great asset to the hotel too.

It’s in a beautiful location. Literally right by the water with the most amazing views of the city and the water. It’s right at town center so everything is walkable. Including the train station (15 min walk). The staff are sooo friendly and nice. My friend had a mini medical emergency in the middle of the night and the guy who works the front desk was so kind and helpful !! The only thing is the A/C situation. They sometimes turn the AC off at night and during the day making the rooms a bit stuffy, the hotel said they did that because the weather was not hot enough. Towards the end of our stay they started keeping the A/C on after we complained about how hot it would get at night. They had daily breakfast included which was tasted so good and had a lot of options. I would definitely come back again!!

Perfect stay for 4 nights. Friendly and knowledgable staff at reception. Nice, well equipped room with enough space for 2. Key for the safe is available at reception. The room was clean throughout our stay - good work by the room care team all along. The location by the old port and the view from the room are amongst the best you can have in Desenzano. Breakfast is one of the best we have seen in Italy - and we have seen many Italian tourist hotels. Just be aware that the car will have to be parked in a car park 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. For unloading and loading, however, one can drive up to the doorstep. All in all a very, very pleasant expeirence.
